I will do something exclusive for this tumblr blog. Figure sculpting related of course. Something to get me busy and do regular post with. Monster girls will still continue too. Look forward for more on that soon.
So, the project I have in mind is to sculpt a new whole figure (in wax) once a week. The plan is to be called “The 63rd Rule Project”.The idea is to take a male character and made a female version out of him. The first subject for this project is Ash Ketchum, thanks to owlcitizen12345 for that. I’m open for suggestions on whose next in line.
*UPDATE: You can now leave comments on my posts. Thanks to Disqus!*
Here’s a taste of what to come. 63rd Captain Cold (Major Freeze?)
eldadvg asked: Hi, when you sculpt an a toon figure, like the toph figure. Do you fist make sculpt and then cut it out to the make the limbs(articulation) or do you sculpt the articulation from the beginning?
That depends on the figure. I usually sculpt the figure in full then cut it up to add the articulation. Other times, I sculpt the figure around the articulation system.
